We are searching for YOU! The ÖH-Klagenfurt – a corporation of the federal law and representation for more than 9500 students – is searching for interested and dedicated students to fill positions in various departments.

The following jobs for the period from 2009 to 2011 are to be filled (please note: what matters are your qualifications and motivation – a possible membership to any student party does not come into account):

1. International Students Office

1 officer and various associates:

Responsibilities and tasks:

• weekly counseling hours, providing help to questions and concerns via email
• counseling in the course of the Welcome Days
• statements to draft bills which are in the office’s area of responsibility
• initiation and coordination of projects opposing the disadvantage of people without an Austrian ancestry or passport
• translating relevant information into English
• commitment to help abolish the twice as high tuition fee for international students
• help to coordinate and design issues which encompass all ÖH offices

2. Office for Employees, Elderly Students and „Studikids“

1 officer and various associates

Responsibilities and tasks:

• weekly counseling hours, providing help to questions and concerns via email
• organization of projects to help students with kids
• providing advice to elderly students
• help to coordinate and design issues which encompass all ÖH offices

3. Office for Education Politics

Die Referate sind die ausführenden Einrichtungen der Universitätsvertretung mit klar umrissenen Aufgabenbereichen (Bildungspolitik, Soziales, Frauenpolitik, wirtschaftliche Angelegenheiten, etc.).

In den Referaten werden Projekte geplant und umgesetzt. Es gibt Referate, die nur aus einer Mitarbeiterin bzw. einem Mitarbeiter bestehen und Referate, in denen zusätzlich Sachbearbeiterinnen und Sachbearbeiter tätig sind.
